Climate
The climate in London is legendary! But: it rarely snows or gets much below –3 degrees Celsius (28 degrees Fahrenheit) and can reach the 30s (80s) in the summer months. Being an island the weather can change rapidly and ‘layer’ dressing is usually the best option. As a consequence the homes do not normally have or need any forms of air conditioning although most newly equipped offices do have. Many top -of-the-range cars are now being offered with A/C as an option.

Arts and Entertainment
The choice of entertainments is vast and caters for every taste – theatre, cinema, museums, galleries, classical music to rock concerts plus every kind of cuisine you can think of.

There is an excellent network of American women’s clubs in all those areas as well as many British social activities.
