Town-lovers working in the City (the financial district) like to live in and around Chelsea, Kensington, St. Johns Wood and Hampstead. Country lovers who like more space and don’t mind commuting (40 minutes or so) prefer Weybridge, Cobham, Walton, Virginia Water, and Sunningdale.

Schools
If schooling is an issue there is a choice between American schooling in the central London area (St. Johns Wood) or in the more leafy suburbs of the Surrey areas where there are three American schools to choose from. All have a door-to-door bus service. There is also a good choice of both private and state British schools in all areas and many European schools.
